In a world where everyone lives forever, Xana struggles to recall his memory. An old tape machine becomes both an investigating tool and an obsolete artifact, capturing his collapsing sense of self. Synthetic vocal layers, trained on the noise of inanimate objects, reveal the brutal erosion of the human presence. Technological advances fail to stabilize consciousness, leaving only fleeting fragments of memory.
